[Bike now retired to a good home!]
My fist TT bike was a Cervelo P5 Three after originally wanting a P3 and being sold a Cervelo S5 to learn to ride. This bike was pretty standard apart from the Rotor Q ring and Di2 which i had fitted a few months after owning it. I had the Di2 fitted as i didn’t feel safe trying to change gear whilst climbing.
I rode this bike in my first Ironman (Lanzarote) taking me a reasonable time for someone that had only been riding a bike for six months. I still think that this one one great looking bike and i think that the newer P5 SIX in red does not look as good as this version.
At the time i was using Tokyowheels carbon tubs which rolled rearly nice. Id recommend these wheels to anyone as i great mid market option. I never had a problem with any of mine and i had several sets all with DT Swiss 240 hubs.
I did find that storage was an issue on this bike just like on the newer P5 Six. Something that have almost resolved on the P5X. Like most people i used to tape gels to the top tube and hide bottles behind the seat.
